Creamy Turmeric and Ginger Tea



Feeling a bit under the weather or feel a cold coming on? Try this delicious tea to soothe both your body and your taste buds.

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (or grated fresh turmeric)
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  •  1/4c hot water
  •  1c almond milk or coconut milk
  • 3-4 black peppercorns
  • raw honey or stevia to taste


Combine ginger, turmeric and hot water. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and peppercorns, bringing the milk nearly to a boil. Pour into turmeric mixture. Let sit for a few minutes, strain and add honey to taste.
