Get Healthy with a Plant Based Diet

1/3 of adults 20 and over are obese.

25% of those under 19 are obese.

1 in 10 adults have diabetes.

Americans suffer more than 2 million heart attacks and strokes each year.

In spite of the advances in science, medicine and technology, we as a society are more unwell and overweight than ever before. It’s time for that to change.

It’s time to become informed and empowered.

It’s time to be accountable.

You have the power to heal yourself. Good health starts in your grocery cart. A plant-based, or mostly plant-based diet is your key. You will have more strength, afternoon fatigue will fade away, your mood will improve, you won’t catch colds or the flu, aches and pains will disappear, you will sleep better, your skin will glow, you will lose excess body fat, you will gain muscle and you will feel better than ever.

Whether you are trying to lose weight or improve your health (or both) – 90% or more of your daily caloric intake should come from whole foods of plant origin. (vegetables, beans/legumes, fruits, nuts and seeds, and whole grains).

  • 1-2lbs of raw and cooked veggies
  • 4-6 pieces of fruit
  • 1 cup of beans/legumes
  • 1-4oz of raw nuts
