Make Good Health a Priority


Successful people aren’t born that way.  They become successful by establishing the habit of doing things unsuccessful people don’t like to do.  The successful people don’t always like these things themselves; they just get on and do them. 

Throughout my career, I’ve spent many years educating clients about achieving good health through proper nutrition…some clients have struggled with change and some have been extremely successful. I have noticed a common thread among the people that achieve the best results, reach their goals and make lifelong changes.

The biggest commonality among them, is quite simple: They make their health a priority. They make healthy eating and exercise a priority.

When something is important to you – you will find a way to do it. No excuses. If not, you’ll come up with every excuse in the book to skip a workout or eat an unhealthy meal.

The individuals that have the most success when adopting the nutrition plan that I promote are the ones that see that they are not being deprived; that maintaining a healthy weight (and good health) is not a temporary “diet” – it involves a lifestyle change. By looking at that change as positive and exciting, you set yourself up for success.

All you have to do is be determined – make the decision that you WILL lead a healthy life.

Nutrition is a HUGE part of that.

There are many things in our life that we have no control over. Food is the one thing that you have absolute control of. You make a choice with every bite on your fork – will it be a healthy one that provides long lasting benefits or will it be a choice for instant gratification without regard to your health?

I encourage you to make the healthy choice. Unhealthy food eventually becomes unappealing, unappetizing and doesn’t taste quite as good as once thought.
